We partnered with the American Heart Association to raise funds for their important cause. We gave 15% of our proceeds from all five locations to them.
“I was astounded by their teams immediate willingness to help our cause,” said Kasi Lund, an AHA director.
We did this because we want our customers to eat well, but also to eat with a purpose. We believe food should nourish your body, not hurt it. We also believe your dining should help the community, not hurt it.
The AHA only partners with restaurants that can offer heart health foods, which isn’t always easy, they say.
“Blue Lemon provided us with the opportunity to have not only a healthy option, but a delicious one as well,” Kasi said.
We were honored to be able to be part of the healthy heart movement, and we hope it means something to our customers as well. Changing the way we eat can change the world!
Blue Lemon will continue to seek out relationships with important organizations like the AHA, to find ways to make an impact with the help of our diners. If you have any suggestions, let us know!
